Some of Our Favorite Places in the US

We've been all over the United States, and we've seen a lot of really neat places! Here are just a few of our favorite spots, and why we love them so much.

1. Badlands National Park and the Black Hills

These two places go together like bread and butter, and as such it didn't feel right to seperate them. Our family travels to these spots at least once a year, and every single time we have a ton of fun doing different things. We love climbing in the Badlands, and stopping at Wall Drug maybe a few too many times during our trips. And then in the Black Hills, we love hiking up the rigorious Black Elk Peak trail, which leads to one of the best fews I have seen in my entire life, and stopping at Mount Rushmore to see that wonder of construction. Overall, the Badlands and Black Hills are must see locations, ones we have enjoyed time and time again.

2. Florida

We really just love all of Florida, and who wouldn't? From sunny beaches to popular theme parks, there is a little bit of something for everyone in the Sunshine State! Some of our favorite places include Fiesta Key Campground, which has so much to do and see there, Peace River Campground, where we were able to look around the river for fossilized shark teeth, and the St Johns Boardwalk, where there are a plethora of unique little shops, including our family's favorite taffy store. Florida is well known for being a vacation hot spot, but there a plenty of hidden gems to be found, if you look hard enough!

3. Big Bend National Park

Our family loves Big Bend! Situated right along the Rio Grande, it's got all kinds of cool hikes and neat areas. One place we love to visit is the hot springs, where a sort of bathing and swimming area was created a long long time ago to take advantage of the natural hot springs. It's definitely out of the way, but it's worth it for the awesome views and scenic areas. This is also where we would go to test out Insty Connect improvements, because getting signal out there can be pretty difficult. (And if you're struggling with internet, the Insty Connect can help with that!)

4. Quartzite

Quartzite is one of our dad and brothers' favorite places to go. They head over there every year to show at the RV show in January (Which they will be at again this upcoming January!) and they always have a ton of fun. It can get pretty empy out there, but that just means that you've got the whole place to yourself! You really can never be sure what you're going to find at Quartzite.

5. Yellowstone

What would any top spots list be without mentioning Yellowstone. With all the amazing geysers and beautiful hot spring formations, there is no shortage of incredible things to see. My personal favorite geyser is the Anemone geyser, which has a very unique eruption where it fills up with water, erupts, and then drains again. All the different activities in the park make it a must see destination, and a family favorite for so many people.

And those are just a few of our favorite places to visit! How many have you been to?

As always hope you enjoyed, and keep on exploring!
