Privacy Policy
We're a family business, and we treat your information the way we'd want ours treated. This page explains — plainly — what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to tell us to stop.
What we collect
When you give it to us. If you use "Build My System" and ask us to email your build, we collect your name, email address, what you're using it for, and the configuration you built. If you contact support or sales, we collect whatever you put in that message.
When you buy. Orders, billing, and your equipment and data-plan services are handled in our billing system at billing.insty.online. That includes your name, contact details, shipping address, order history, and the services on your account.
Automatically, as you browse. Standard web-server information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date and time), plus the tracking described in the next section.
Cookies, the Meta pixel, and how we know where you came from
We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel on both instyconnect.com and billing.insty.online. It sets cookies in your browser and reports back to Meta which pages you viewed, when you started a checkout, and when you completed a purchase. We use this to understand which of our ads actually help people find us, and to show ads to people who've visited.
When you enter your email address or phone number in one of our forms — the build configurator, or checkout — that information is also sent to Meta in a hashed form (scrambled into a fingerprint that can't be read back into your address) so Meta can tell that the person who bought is the same person who saw the ad. We do this because it is the only reliable way to know which ads actually lead to sales; without it we would be guessing about where our advertising budget goes. Meta receives the fingerprint, not your address.
If you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we store the campaign information from that link (and the advertising click identifier that comes with it) in your browser, using local storage and a first-party cookie that lasts up to 180 days. If you later give us your email address, that campaign information is attached to your subscriber record so we can tell which campaign brought you in.
How to turn it off. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control how Meta uses your activity through your Facebook Ad Preferences. Blocking these does not affect your ability to browse, buy, or get support from us.
We also use Google Analytics on both sites to understand how people find and move through them — which pages get read, where visitors come from, and which pages lead to an order. Google Analytics sets its own cookies. You can opt out across every site that uses it with Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Our site also loads fonts from Google and, on pages with videos, content from YouTube. Those requests reach Google's servers and are subject to Google's own privacy policy.
Our email list is managed through AWeber. If you're on it, we may send product news, guides, and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also choose which kinds of email you want on our email preferences page. Unsubscribing does not affect service or support messages about an order or account you actually have.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that make the business run:
- Meta — website activity and, where you've given them to us, a hashed version of your email address or phone number, for advertising measurement.
- Google — website activity, through Google Analytics and (where we advertise) Google Ads.
- AWeber — your email address and subscriber details, to send email.
- Payment and billing providers — to take payment and manage your services. We do not store your full card details.
- Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS) — name and address, to deliver equipment.
- Mobile network operators — the information required to activate and support the data service on your equipment.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
How long we keep it
Order and account records are kept as long as you have an account with us, and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, warranty, and legal purposes. Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe and ask us to remove them. Browser tracking data expires on its own — the advertising cookies described above last up to 180 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act — we extend these choices to everyone who asks, regardless of where you live. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

Security
Our site and billing system are served over encrypted connections, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise — but we don't collect more than we need, which is the best protection there is.
Children
Our products and this site are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
