The short answer
When you tap Enable on On Demand, we email you a 6-digit code to confirm before the day starts. You can turn that step off for your modem: log in to your account, open your data plan, tick Skip email verification, and hit Save Preference. The "are you sure โ this may charge your card" prompt on your device stays either way.
Why there's a code at all
Turning On Demand on starts a paid day on the card you have on file, so the code is there to make sure it's really you doing it โ and not a tap from someone else on your Wi-Fi.
The catch is the obvious one: the code arrives by email, and if On Demand is the internet you're about to turn on, you may not be able to read your email until it's on. If you're usually out somewhere with no other signal, switching the code off is the sensible call.
Turn it off
- Log in to your account at billing.insty.online.
- Open My Products & Services and click your data plan (the one with On Demand / Hot-Standby on it) to open Product Details.
- Scroll to the bottom, to On Demand Activation.
- Tick Skip email verification when enabling On Demand on this modem.
- Click Save Preference. That's it โ it takes effect on your next enable.

What changes, and what doesn't
- No more code. Tap Enable on the dashboard and On Demand starts right away โ no email, no waiting, nothing to type in.
- You still get asked first. Your device still pops up "Enabling On Demand service may charge the payment method on file. Do you want to continue?" โ nothing is charged until you tap through it.
- Nothing about your plan or pricing changes. Same plan, same daily rate, same billing โ this only changes how the day gets started.
- It's set per modem. The preference is saved against that one plan, so if you run more than one Insty system, set it on each of them.
Turning it back on
Same place: untick the box, click Save Preference, and the next time you enable On Demand we'll email you a code again. You can flip it back and forth as often as you like.
Not getting the code? Try this before switching it off
- Check your spam / junk folder โ it's the usual culprit.
- Check the email address on your account is the one you actually read. It's under your name in the top-right โ Edit Account Details. If there's no email on file at all, we can't send a code and you'll see an error when you try to enable.
- Codes expire after 10 minutes, and five wrong tries stops that code โ just start the enable again to get a fresh one.
