The big idea: the modem lives inside the antenna — right where the signal is, so none of it gets lost on the way. One ethernet cable (up to 150 ft) carries data and power between antenna and router.
…plus your router and your antenna (modem inside).

All four connect exactly the same way — one ethernet cable into the modem (how-to on page 3).

Snap the wall plug onto the power adapter, plug it into the router, and give it a minute to boot.
Then open WiFi settings on your phone and join the network printed on the bottom sticker:
Password = the sticker's WiFi Key (case-sensitive).
And that's the entire router setup — there isn't any. No wizard, no passwords to create; it arrives ready to go.
Network name (SSID) + WiFi Key: bottom sticker.
In your browser: http://192.168.8.1
(type the http:// — not https)
It's normal to see an error here — the app shows “No Insty modem detected” because we haven't connected the antenna yet. Nothing's wrong; Step 3 clears it.
On your phone or tablet, scroll to the very bottom and tap ① Install app — it walks you through putting the app on your home screen (a couple of taps). That icon is your one home base for the whole system.
On a PC the button doesn't show — bookmark http://192.168.8.1 instead.
The dashboard at 192.168.8.1. Until the antenna is on, it asks for it — and clears itself the moment it's found.
…and its bottom: ① · ②.
Match the numbers — every port on the injector is labeled.
| 1 | “POE to Antenna” the long cable → up to the antenna |
| 2 | “To WAN on Router” the short cable → router's WAN port |
| 3 | “DC 12-24V” power — AC adapter or direct-wire 12V (red = +, black = –). The Y cable powers router + antenna from one source. |
The injector — labels on the lid.
Open the app you installed in Step 2 — the icon on your phone, or http://192.168.8.1 on a PC.
The moment the antenna is connected, the dashboard shows it: your carrier's name and a live signal — like “T-Mobile 5G · 70%.” Run a speed test right there — getting speeds? You're done. Now make it permanent — mount the antenna and route the cable for good.
That same screen runs your whole service: enable your plan (tap Start, or switch On Demand on and off), change Providers, manage Data plans, and Speed test — it's all right there.
Good to know: the system keeps its own software up to date · the antenna has its own dashboard too, at http://192.168.225.1 — deeper modem details + SIM tools; support may send you there (it's also the entry point for advanced no-router setups).
Antenna in → dashboard alive: live signal, plans, providers, speed test.
